Manufacturers Of Aramid Fiber Kevlar® Braided Sleeve
MARSHALL Aramid Fiber Kevlar® Sleeve is a material used for wrapping pipes or cables, typically composed of aramid fibers and polymer resin.
MARSHALL Aramid Fiber Kevlar® Sleeve is a high-performance synthetic fiber known for its excellent heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength. It is commonly employed in environments requiring high temperatures and chemical resistance. Compared to traditional pipe protection materials, aramid fiber sleeves offer a longer service life and higher performance.
MARSHALL Aramid Fiber Kevlar® Sleeve is woven from DuPont Kevlar fiber 1414 and has high strength (greater than 25 grams per denier), which is 5-6 times that of steel, The modulus is 2-3 times that of steel or fiberglass, the toughness is twice that of steel, and the weight is only 1/5 of steel.
The temperature range for continuous use is 200ºC. It can operate normally for a long time within the range of C to 250 ºC.
The shrinkage rate at 150ºC is 0, and it does not decompose or melt at high temperatures of 560 ºC. It has higher heat resistance, good insulation and corrosion resistance, and a long life cycle.
MARSHALL Aramid Fiber Kevlar Tubing Tape Sleeve has the following characteristics:
Light weight, high strength, high modulus, stable size, low shrinkage rate, puncture resistance, wear resistance, heat resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, good mechanical properties Etc. Widely used in the industrial protection of electrical wires, cables, pipelines, insulation pipes, composite materials, special protective clothing, and electronic equipment.
MARSHALL Aramid Fiber is woven into a sleeve so you can easily make straight or curved pipes with no seams. These Kevlar aramid fiber sleeves will expand in diameter and enlarge the length when pull the ends, diminish in diameter and enlarge the length when push the ends.
MARSHALL Aramid Fiber Kevlar® Sleeve usually be wrapped on the glass furnace roller to avoid the glass from coming out of the temperature too high, it is easy to explode and scratch when it comes into contact with the cold roller path.
Kevlar carbon fiber sleeve is woven into a tube/sleeve so you can easily make straight or curved pipes with no seams. These sleeves will expand in diameter if the ends are pushed together and also will decrease in diameter if pulled from both ends.
MARSHALL Aramid Fiber Kevlar sleeve is woven with aramid fibers, and the lightweight woven structure makes the product have good scalability and can adapt to the needs of different diameter wire harnesses. The product is a sturdy and lightweight sheath that can be used to prevent cable components, hoses, and harnesses from being worn, cut, and scratched.
The product has high heat resistance and is shaped through special processes, with waterproof, oil resistant, and mold resistant properties.
Features:
- High Strength: MARSHALL Aramid Fiber Kevlar® Sleeve, such as those found in Kevlar, are renowned for their high tensile strength. This characteristic makes aramid fiber sleeves suitable for applications where strength and durability are crucial.
- Heat Resistance: MARSHALL Aramid Fiber Kevlar® Sleeve exhibit excellent resistance to high temperatures, allowing aramid fiber sleeves to maintain their structural integrity and protective properties even in elevated temperature environments.
- Abrasion Resistance: MARSHALL Aramid Fiber Kevlar® Sleeve are often resistant to abrasion and wear, making them suitable for applications where protection against friction and mechanical damage is essential.
- Chemical Resistance: MARSHALL Aramid Fiber Kevlar® Sleeve typically have good resistance to various chemicals, enhancing the protective capabilities of aramid fiber sleeves in different industrial settings.
- Lightweight: MARSHALL Aramid Fiber Kevlar® Sleeve are lightweight, contributing to the overall lightweight nature of aramid fiber sleeves. This feature is advantageous in applications where minimizing weight is important.
Application:
- Aerospace and Aviation: In aircraft, these sleeves are used to protect wires and hoses from abrasion and heat, contributing to safety and reliability.
- Automotive: They are applied in cars and motorcycles to protect brake lines, fuel lines, and wiring from heat and mechanical damage.
- Industrial Machinery: Aramid sleeves are used to cover hoses and cables in industrial environments, protecting them from heat, abrasion, and chemical exposure.
- Electronics: Providing EMI shielding and thermal protection for cables and wiring in electronic devices, enhancing performance and durability.
- Sports and Recreation: Used in the manufacturing of protective gear and equipment, such as racing suits and protective sleeves for extreme sports, offering both safety and performance enhancements.
- Marine: Protecting ropes, cables, and hoses on boats and ships from saltwater, UV exposure, and abrasion, ensuring longevity and reliability.
